Discovery-orientated board of directors

U3O8 Corp’s Board of Directors comprises a blend of seasoned business leaders and explorationists with a track record of making mineral discoveries and identifying and executing mergers and acquisitions with the goal of enhancing shareholder value. Members of the Board have been involved in the discovery of 16 million ounces of gold (Fruta Del Norte and Quimsachoca) with an in situ value exceeding $10 billion as well as the Mirador and San Carlos copper deposits in Ecuador with a similar in situ value.   


Dr. Keith M. Barron, B.Sc., Ph.D
Director, Founder

Keith has more than 24 years of exploration experience on all the continents except Antarctica, and in a wide variety of commodities including gold, base metals and diamonds. He holds a B.Sc. in geology from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Western Ontario. Keith has written numerous scholarly works as well as general mining interest articles for trade publications. He has consulted for both junior and major companies as well as investment houses. Keith was co-founder of Aurelian Resources Inc. with a 13.7 million ounce gold discovery made in 2006 – a company acquired by Kinross Gold in 2008. He also founded U3O8 Corp.  


Bryan A. Coates, CA
Director

Bryan has 20 years of mining sector experience and mergers and acquisition expertise. He is a Chartered Accountant and received an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. Bryan is currently Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Osisko Mining Corp. Prior executive positions included Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at IAMGOLD and Cambior Inc., and as Vice President, Finance and Administration at Compania Minera Antamina in South America, he participated in the development of one of the world’s largest base metals mines. Bryan was also involved in the development and operation of Omai Gold Mines, one of Guyana’s largest scale mining operations.  


David W. Constable, B.Sc., MBA, P.Geo, FGAC, ICD.D 
Director

David is a professional geologist with more than 25 years experience with Canadian and international exploration and development experience with the Noranda Group, Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines and managing his own geological consulting firm for a decade. He received his B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology from Mount Allison University and MBA (Hons.) from Laurentian University. Since 1996, David has provided investor relation services to offshore and domestic mining companies, including serving as Vice President of Australia’s Normandy Mining until it was acquired by Newmont Mining. He is a member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI). David has completed the Chartered Director’s course at the University of Toronto and is an experienced director of junior companies listed on the TSX, ASX and TSX Venture Exchanges. Since 2002, he has served as Vice President, Investor Relations for FNX Mining Company Inc., a diverse Canadian base and precious metal producer. 


Sheldon Inwentash, CA 
Director

Sheldon is Chairman and CEO of Mega Uranium Ltd. Sheldon and his management team have built Mega Uranium into one of the fastest growing junior mining companies globally, and are currently advancing its Lake Maitland uranium deposit to production. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry and a deep understanding of progressive investment and financial management strategies. Sheldon was an Ontario finalist for the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. A Chartered Accountant, he is also the Chairman and CEO of Pinetree Capital Ltd., a Canadian investment company with a portfolio of investments primarily in the resource and energy sectors, and serves as a director and officer for several other TSX and TSX Venture Exchange listed companies.


Richard Patricio 
Director

Richard is Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, at Mega Uranium Ltd. and is responsible for merger and acquisition activity, corporate transactions and the overall administration of Mega Uranium. Prior to joining Mega Uranium, he practiced law at a top tier law firm in Toronto and worked as in-house General Counsel for a senior TSX-listed company. Richard is a lawyer qualified to practice in the Province of Ontario. He is also the Vice President, Legal and Corporate Affairs for Pinetree Capital Ltd. and serves as a director and officer for several other listed companies on the TSX and the TSX Venture Exchange.

Stewart Taylor
Director

Stewart is President of Mega Uranium Ltd., having joined the company through Mega Uranium's acquisition of the Ben Lomond uranium deposit in Australia. He is responsible for the generation, acquisition and exploration of Mega Uranium’s uranium projects worldwide, and has been instrumental in building Mega Uranium’s worldwide presence. Stewart is a geologist and holds a B.Sc. (Hons. Geology) from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. He has over 35 years of mining and exploration experience in Australia, Asia, Africa, Europe and North and South America. Prior to joining Mega Uranium, Stewart held senior management positions with several major and junior groups including Anglo American Corporation, Mogul of Ireland Ltd., Electrolytic Zinc Company of Australia Ltd. and Mount Isa Mines Ltd. Since 1998, he has been a Principal of Taylor Wall & Associates, a Brisbane-based consulting firm specializing in mineral project generation and evaluation and providing geoscientific consulting services worldwide.
