Disclosure of Technical Information
The potential quantities and grades reported on exploration targets are based on drill results that define the approximate length, thickness, depth and grade of the target, but are considered conceptual in nature. It is uncertain if further exploration will result in U3O8 Corp’s uranium resource on its properties being expanded and developed into an economic deposit and exploration targets being delineated as a mineral resource.
Comparisons of U3O8 Corp’s uranium resource and exploration targets with other uranium deposits are conceptual in nature, and have not been independently verified by U3O8 Corp and information regarding these peer deposits are drawn from publicly available information. There is no certainty that further exploration of U3O8 Corp’s uranium resource or other targets will result in the delineation of a similar mineral resource.
Berlin Project, Colombia – A historic resource (non-compliant to NI 43-101) of 12.9 million tonnes at 0.13% U3O8 (38 million pounds (“mlb”) U3O8) was reported in Castano, R. (1981), Calcul provisoire des reserves geologiques de Berlin, sur la base des resultants des sondages, unpublished Minatome report, 15p. U3O8 Corp. is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources and it should not be relied upon or considered a NI 43-101 compliant resource. As the 38mlb U3O8 historic estimate was based only on 11 widely-spaced drill holes, 20 trenches and three adits, it is regarded by U3O8 Corp. as merely an indication of the uranium resource potential of the southernmost 4.4 kilometre (“km”) of the 10.5km mineralized trend at Berlin. U3O8 Corp’s resource drilling has now defined a resource in compliance with NI 43-101 of 1.5mlb Indicated at 0.11% U3O8 and 19.9mlb Inferred at 0.11% U3O8 as well as Inferred resources of 0.8 million tonnes at 9.3% P2O5 and 97mlb at 0.50% V2O5 on only the southernmost 3km of the project. Based on the resource and exploration results, there is potential for the entire 10.5km Berlin trend to contain a cumulative target of 32-34 million tonnes (“Mt”) at 0.09% to 0.11% U3O8 (70-75mlb).
Laguna Salada Project, Argentina – Resources defined in compliance with NI 43-101 have been reported of 6.3mlb Indicated at 60ppm U3O8 and 3.8mlb Inferred at 85ppm U3O8; and 57mlb Indicated at 550ppm V2O5 and 27mlb at 590ppm V2O5. Refer to the technical report dated May 20, 2011 titled “Laguna Salada Project, Chubut Province, Argentina, NI 43-101 Technical Report on Laguna Salada: Initial Resource Estimate”. Based on the resource at Laguna Salada, two projects of similar size and grade have the potential to contain a cumulative target of 150-225Mt at 50 to 60ppm U3O8 (~20-25mlb).
Kurupung Project, Guyana – A resource defined in compliance with NI 43-101 of 8.4mlb Indicated at 0.09% U3O8 and 7.7mlb Inferred at 0.08% U3O8 has been reported on the Aricheng North, Aricheng South, Aricheng West and Aricheng C structures in the Kurupung Batholith. Refer to the technical reportdated January 14, 2009 titled “A Technical Review of the Aricheng North and Aricheng South Uranium Deposits in Western Guyana for U3O8 Corp. and Prometheus Resources (Guyana) Inc.” Assays from scout drilling suggest that the Kurupung structures identified to date may contain a conceptual target of 13-18Mt at a grade of 0.08% to 0.10% U3O8 (~30-35mlb U3O8) including the resource estimate.
Potential quantity and grades are conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration to define mineral resources beyond U3O8 Corp’s current deposits in Colombia, Argentina and Guyana. It is uncertain if further exploration will result in additional mineral resources on these properties.
Preliminary economic assessments (“PEA”) – See the September 18, 2014 technical report: “Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Laguna Salada Uranium Vanadium Deposit, Chubut Province, Argentina.” See the January 18, 2013 technical report: “Berlin Project, Colombia – Preliminary Economic Assessment, NI 43-101 Report.” The Laguna Salada and Berlin PEAs are preliminary in nature. The PEAs include inferred mineral resources that are considered too speculative geologically for economic consideration that would enable them to be classified as mineral reserves. Mineral resources are not mineral reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. There is no certainty that the results of the Laguna Salada and Berlin PEAs will be realized.
Cerro Solo and Sierra Pintada Historic Resources in Argentina – The Cerro Solo and Sierra Pintada deposits are historic resources and do not conform to the standards of NI 43-101. They may vary materially from estimates made in accordance with NI 43-101 and should not be relied upon. The company’s qualified persons have not done sufficient work to verify the historic resources and is not treating the historic estimates as current mineral resources as defined in NI 43-101. However, U3O8 Corp. believes the historic resources are relevant and offer fair descriptions of the projects’ known mineralization.
Albitite-Hosted Uranium Deposits – Albitite-hosted uranium deposits worldwide typically contain resources of 60-130mlb of uranium including the 97mlb Michelin deposit, the 80mlb Valhalla-Skal deposit, the 77mlb Coles Hill deposit and the 220mlb Lagoa Real deposit. These deposits have not been independently verified by U3O8 Corp. and information regarding these deposits are drawn from publicly available information.
Dr. Richard Spencer (P.Geo.), CEO and President of U3O8 Corp., a Qualified Person within the definition of that term in NI 43-101 of the Canadian Securities Administrators, has overall responsibility for all aspects of U3O8 Corp’s exploration programs. Dr. Spencer has supervised the preparation of, and verified, the technical information contained on this Site.
