Identifying multiple uranium-bearing structures

U3O8 Corp. has drilled four targets in the Accori Area to date, near the southwestern margin of the Kurupung Batholith, in the basement near the Roraima Basin in Guyana. Drilling has confirmed significant uranium grades and consistent albitite-hosted mineralization in two of these four areas – at Accori North C, which is poised for resource drilling and at Accori South, which awaits infill drilling.

Uranium mineralization in the Accori Area occurs within sheet-like breccia zones in granodiorite in the Kurupung Batholith and is concentrated in shoots. Mineralization is enclosed by albite-chlorite-hematite alteration, which is the typical alteration halo related to albitite-hosted uranium deposits worldwide.

Map of airborne magnetic data from the Accori Area of the Kurupung Batholith overlain with interpreted structures (black lines). Warm colours represent magnetic rocks while cool colours mark rocks with little magnetism. White irregular shape outlines the uranium zone drilled by U3O8 Corp. at Accori North C. Yellow circles mark targets drilled at Accori North A, Accori North B and Accori South.

Substantially all of the uranium found by U3O8 Corp. to date lies within demagnetized faults (cool colour areas in the magnetic data that are interpreted as faults and marked by black lines). U3O8 Corp. is using magnetic data to identify new targets for scout drilling by tracing out these demagnetized areas as corridors of potential uranium.
