Aricheng South core sample - uranium mineralization associated with an albite-hematite mineral assemblage
Uranium mineralization at Aricheng South occurs in two sub-parallel east-west trending breccia zones in granodiorite in the Kurupung Batholith. The principal structure has been defined over a strike length of 320 metres and to a depth of 230 metres below surface. The principal structure dips approximately 60º to the north, and the mineralized zone varies in width from 4 metres to 34 metres. The deposit remains open along strike to the west and at depth.
